Davonte Lambert, Defensive End out of Auburn University, has officially made the 53 man roster of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Davonte Had 17 career starts at Auburn and was a first team All American JUCO player at Georgia Military College. Lambert, who had five tackles including a tackle for loss in limited preseason action, appears to have won the fourth defensive tackle job, beating out NFL veterans Cliff Matthews (who has been waived) and A.J. Francis. Lambert played well in the Bucs' second preseason game against the Jaguars, getting three tackles, more than the other defensive tackles combined.

"Davonte demonstrated tremendous passion, hard work, and outstanding on the field skills to land that spot. He works hard and is a tremendous person on and off the field."

David Schuman, Managing Director, Inspired Athletes

"Since I met him, Davonte has been a special person, his dedication to the game and being successful is unmatched." say Dan Smith, Managing Director, Inspired Athletes.
