Crownhill Packaging, one of the largest independent, multi-national packaging distributors in North America, has successfully joined the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS).

The APASS program was developed by Amazon to support Amazon Vendors in certifying their products under Amazon's Frustration-Free Packaging Programs guidelines. This program includes three certification tiers: Tier 1 - Frustration Free Packaging (FFP), Tier 2 - Ships-in-Own-Container (SIOC) and Tier 3 - Prep-Free Packaging (PFP). All APASS network companies have received guidance and training from Amazon on how to test, design, and supply packaging in line with meeting Amazon's packaging certification guidelines.

Crownhill Packaging is pleased to now offer packaging design and testing services to CPG companies and other product manufacturers interested in reducing their costs, minimizing Amazon prep chargebacks and improving the overall customer experience with their products in line with Amazon's guidance.

"This is an exciting opportunity for Crownhill to assist E-commerce vendors with their packaging challenges and win in the marketplace" said Ken Wong, Vice President of Crownhill Packaging. "Global e-commerce sales are expected to increase to nearly $4.9 T by 2021, and as this increasing channel of business continues to dynamically grow, we are continually innovating to meet the challenges this evolving business model creates for our clients."
