Cookbook Publishing Website, Gourmandize, Hosts Holiday Baking Recipe Competition
Online, January 6, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Gourmandize.com, a newly launched self-publishing service dedicated to cooking, announces its most recent recipe competition with the theme holiday baking.
The recipe contest, beginning Dec. 26, 2013, will run until Jan. 26, 2014. Members will be able to submit unlimited recipes to the contest for the chance to win the first prize, a Samsung Galaxy Tablet. Second and third place winners will receive a Cuisinart immersion blender and a cake pop maker respectively. The contest is currently open to participants 18 years of age and older, who reside in the US or Canada. Gourmandize and its international team will choose the winning recipes on originality and photo quality (if applicable).
"As the holidays wind down we thought this would be the perfect competition to show off successful holiday dishes," Stephanie McIntosh, International site manager stated. "Most people take photos of their baking creations, now they have a chance to share them and win some great prizes."
Gourmandize has hosted several recipe contests since the website's launch this past summer. In addition to monthly recipe competitions, Gourmandize has also given away hundreds of free cookbooks as holiday gifts to members. The cookbook-publishing site continues to offer the first custom cookbook to each new user for free until Feb. 28, 2014. After this date Gourmandize will continue to offer cookbook-publishing services with formats ranging from $13-$40.
