Cookbook Publishing Service, Gourmandize.com, Announces Christmas Giveaway

Gourmandize.com, a new cookbook publishing website, is offering 1,000 free cookbooks as a holiday gift to its members. Cookbooks are easy to make using the recently updated, easy to follow, cookbook creator studio.

Gourmandize.com, a newly-launched self-publishing service dedicated to cooking, is giving away 1,000 free cookbooks in celebration of its first holiday season. The cookbooks are created and printed to order by each member, the first 1,000 orders being free. Publishing a cookbook is now available to all!

Launched during summer 2013, Gourmandize offers unlimited storage for personal recipes and a cookbook creator studio to print them. As a Christmas gift to its members, the site is allowing its members to publish their recipe books for free. The cookbooks are to be created in the recently updated cookbook creator studio, which now offers a new photo format and an improved design. Members can make their own book with personal recipes and photos and customize the cover. The cookbooks are available in 3 size formats ranging from 24 to 146 pages and during the holiday season all formats are available free of charge, with no obligation to purchase more books.

"Printing your recipes in a book allows you to share your culinary heritage, passing it on to your friends and family and from one generation to another," Stephanie McIntosh, international site manager stated. "The cookbooks are homemade, making them a special present to give this Christmas. The best cookbook is the one you write yourself."

The cookbook creator studio is available to anyone with internet access. Simple to use, no editing or graphic design skills are required. To create a book, members need only sign up, upload their recipes and photos, then follow the book creation process, which is guided every step of the way.

"Gourmandize cookbooks are great gifts for families who wish to make a collection of tried and tested dishes, children wanting to create something special for their parents or grandparents, and friends looking for the perfect personalized present," added Laurence Dorman, the international webmaster.

This free offer will be available until December 31, 2013. In 2014, the site will switch to a paid-for only service, with cookbook prices starting from $14.99.
