Continuum GRC Named to 10th Edition of Cybersecurity 500 List

For the fifth quarter in a row, Continuum GRC has been named to the Cybersecurity 500, the definitive list of the world's hottest and most innovative cyber security companies

Continuum GRC, a leading IT governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) firm and developer of the cloud-based IT Audit Machine (ITAM) GRC software, has been named to the 10th edition of the Cybersecurity 500. It is the fifth straight quarter the company has been prominently ranked on the list.

“We are excited and honored to be ranked, once again, on the same list as some of the titans in the information security industry,” said Michael Peters, CEO of Continuum GRC. “What sets Continuum GRC apart from the rest of the field are its people and their deep subject matter expertise in IT governance, risk, and compliance.”

The Cybersecurity 500 does not rank companies by size; instead, the list seeks to highlight the hottest and most innovative firms in the industry. New entrants on the list are chosen based on feedback solicited from CISOs, IT security practitioners and service providers, as well as research culled from hundreds of cyber security events and news sources.

"GRC is on track to become a $40 billion market over the next five years," said Steve Morgan, founder and CEO at Cybersecurity Ventures. "Continuum GRC is a proven innovator that deserves to be on the short list of consideration for any company grappling with governance, risk, and compliance issues."

Continuum GRC’s audit and assessment services include HIPAA, HITECH and NIST 800-66, PCI DSS QSA, SSAE 16 and AT-101 SOC reports, FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST, CJIS, DFARS, ISO, NERC CIP, SOX, ISO, and EU-US Privacy Shield certification, to name a few, all powered by the IT Audit Machine, which includes easy-to-use modules that guide clients through the compliance process step by step. The ITAM is available in three different editions and four different service levels: a self-help version for organizations that have sufficient compliance staff in-house; a Cybervisor-supported version, which includes customer support from Continuum GRC’s compliance experts; a full-service version, where Continuum GRC’s compliance experts perform all the work; and a level specifically designed for third-party assessment firms.

“ITAM shatters industry paradigms that have plagued both client organizations and service providers alike. ITAM eliminates ‘audit anarchy’ and, on average, speeds up assessment and reporting by 180%, When time is money, ITAM is a big win,” Peters noted.

In addition to being named to the Cybersecurity 500, beginning in June 2017, Continuum GRC will be exclusively featured by Cybersecurity Ventures’ new GRC Diary, which will provide a quarterly roundup of the top headlines in the GRC domain.

“The cyber security field moves at the speed of light. Half the battle is just keeping up with what’s going on in each industry sector. The GRC Diary will cut through the noise and provide security experts with the most relevant, important GRC news each quarter,” Peters said. The first edition of the GRC Diary is scheduled to be published on June 30.
