CompuWorks Expands With Four New Team Members

HealthyIT Solutions Provider Grows Its Technical Services and Account Management Teams To Better Support Its Growing Client Base

CompuWorks— a highly respected provider of professional IT solutions and consulting services throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York and Vermont—today announced that it has added four new members to its team: Melanie King, Roger Burr, Aaron Besnoff and Cullen Tierney. These new team members bring a range of technical and customer service experience, and allow CompuWorks to better service and support its growing client base.

Melanie King comes to CompuWorks from OriginLab Corporation where she recently served as a Customer Care Lead Representative and Technical Support Engineer. She has an extensive 12-year background in customer service, training, quality assurance and sales team management, as well as extensive computer and technical knowledge. Melanie has also run her own business, so she can totally relate to an entrepreneur’s unique viewpoint when it comes to the importance of keeping projects on time and on budget.

A proven 18-year veteran of the local IT industry, Roger Burr joins CompuWorks after a decade-long stint at TD Bank where he was a Regional Manager overseeing a team of computer and network technicians in four states. Before that, he held IT services and help desk support positions with several other local organizations. He has a bachelor’s degree in computer forensics from Champlain College and a master's from Simmons College in assistive special education technology.

CompuWorks chose Aaron Bresnoff to join the team for his rich IT and engineering expertise, as well as his customer service and sales background. His resume includes 12 years as a freelance IT technician, as well as impressive runs with such electronics retailers as Best Buy and RadioShack. He has a CompTIA A+ certification, and practical experience with a range of popular hardware and software solutions.

A knowledgeable network technician and budding game designer, Cullen Tierney comes to CompuWorks having just completed his BA in Computer Science and taken part in the Cisco Networking Academy. He has experience implementing and administering networks of various sizes and can work with C++, CSS, HTML and other programming languages.

According to Alan Bauman, Partner at CompuWorks, “I am incredibly excited to welcome Melanie, Roger, Aaron and Cullen to the CompuWorks family. They were chosen from among hundreds of applicants because of their technical skills, people skills, passion and dedication. I feel as though they are an ideal fit for the company and its client base, and look forward to working with them to deliver HealthyIT solutions moving forward.”
