Compeat Appoints Kerry Carney CFO
Seasoned Technology Executive Joins Fast-Growing Team of Professionals to Oversee Financial Strategy and Accelerate Growth for Compeat Restaurant Management Systems.
Austin, TX, January 4, 2016 (Newswire.com) - Kerry Carney joins the Compeat executive team as the company’s Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Carney will work directly with Compeat CEO Jeffrey Stone to oversee financial stewardship and optimize growth opportunities in the restaurant technology segment. He brings over 30 years of experience to Compeat’s executive team with an extensive background with privately-held, private equity and publicly owned companies, including experience with mergers and acquisitions, ERP implementations, and SaaS and retail business models.
Mr. Carney joins Compeat from Profiles International, a leading global talent management organization where he served as Chief Financial Officer for more than four and a half years. “His diverse experience with various business models and corporate structures comes at exactly the right time to catalyze the next stage in Compeat’s growth,” said Jeff Stone, President and CEO of Compeat.

Serent Capital invested in Compeat in April to provide new capital to pursue growth and help scale the company’s enterprise offering for global operators within the restaurant industry segment.
