'Comfort & Joy' Spreads Holiday Cheer in Los Angeles
Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities, Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department join forces to make this holiday season a special one for Los Angeles families.
LOS ANGELES, November 30, 2021 (Newswire.com) - Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities (LATLC) is excited to announce that they will once again be partnering with Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) Newton Division, as well as Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) to spread holiday cheer to those in need, with their sixth annual 'Comfort & Joy' celebration on Saturday, Dec. 4, 2021.
This year, Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities promises a real-life 'Miracle on 34th Street' with volunteers and LAPD officers providing gift bags filled with holiday goodies to 500 families along 34th Street outside the Newton Division precinct in South Los Angeles. This festive event will be a joyous occasion with holiday decorations and inflatables lining the street and music being played to get everyone in the spirit. Even Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will be there to share in the festivities.
The gift bags being distributed will contain items that will make this holiday season more enjoyable for families in need in the community, including canned goods, household items, cookie mix, baby items, children's toys, and holiday-themed face masks. These bags will be assembled by volunteers from Los Angeles Trial Lawyers' Charities themselves in the days before the event. All volunteers will also be observing COVID-safe protocols on the day, and families are encouraged to remain in their cars with the gift bags being brought to them as they drive by.
