Clary Sage College Provides Free Haircuts for Local Veterans

Clary Sage College Barbering students are providing free haircuts to Veterans and their families.

The Clary Sage College (CSC) Barbering program will be partnering with Coffee Bunker (6365 E. 41st St. Tulsa, Ok. 74135) by providing free haircuts to local Veterans and their children throughout 2016. The barbering students will be onsite February 15, March 28, May 2, June 6, July 18, August 15, September 26, November 7 and December 12 from 9:30am – 1:30pm.

"Giving back to the community is what barbers do and what better group to give back to than the men, women and their families who fight for our freedom," said Paula Matthews, Barber Department Head.

According to their website, Coffee Bunker is a place of connection for veterans and their family to help their transition back into family and community life. Each day up to 90 veterans come to Coffee Bunker to get together, use computers, access Wi-Fi, enjoy games and group activities, watch TV or just hang out.

CSC is excited to give back to those who have given so much for our country.
