ChemDAQ Partners with Four New Distributors

Sterilant gas monitoring company increases access to Steri-Trac® system for large markets across the country

PITTSBURGH, PA - ChemDAQ, Inc. announced this week that they have reached agreements with four additional distributors across the United States. The companies, West Coast Bio-Medical, Inc (Ramona, CA), Crawford Diversified Services, Inc (St. Louis, MO), Dependable Sterilizer Repair, Inc (Bensenville, IL), and Precision Surgical Inc. (Blue Bell, PA), will now make ChemDAQ's increasingly popular Steri-Trac® monitoring system more readily available to large markets in their respective areas.

"Utilizing our innovative monitoring system, hospitals and other companies in the healthcare industry are able to monitor sterilant gases that have the potential to cause serious harm to employees who are exposed to them," said David Hilliker, ChemDAQ's President and CEO. "This is an issue that has long been in need of a solution. Even though new chemicals are being used, all are designed to kill microbial life, which makes them dangerous to humans if exposed. Our system ensures that employees will be warned if a leak does occur."

One of the reasons the Steri-Trac® system is so popular is its capability to measure more than one type of sterilant gas. Currently, ChemDAQ markets systems to measure levels of Ethylene Oxide (EtO), Hydrogen Peroxide (H2O2), and Ozone (O3) in the workplace. "We feel that every facility utilizing low-temperature sterilization methods should have access to our system, regardless of their location or what chemicals they use, in order to keep their employees safe," Hilliker states.
