Career Center Connects With You42 for New Job Placement Network

Workforce experts use new media strategies to shake up online job seeking

To help make sense of today's volatile job market, Career Center of the Southeast is teaming up with digital entertainment company You42 to create a Network dedicated to job placement, as well as safety and equality in the workplace. At the helm of this new Network is Career Center's founder and CEO Kimberly Harris, an entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, speaker, and workforce strategist with clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to solopreneurs.

"Every career is a journey," said Harris. "There are always obstacles to overcome, but the challenges we face today are unprecedented. Whether you're looking for your next opportunity, or you're trying to fill a critical position at your company, the Career Center Network will give you the help you need to reach your employment goals in any job market."

Founded in 2015, Career Center has held over 400 hiring events and placed thousands back to work. The company has secured talent for some of the biggest companies in the world, including Amazon, Pepsi, P&G, Aflac, Dunn and Bradstreet, and United HealthCare Group. They offer a range of services, from career fairs and hiring events to specialized workshops and employee retention programs.

With its new You42 Network, Career Center will provide resources for career seekers while partnering with human resource departments looking to connect talented individuals with safe, quality jobs. Users will find videos from career professionals with advice on helping them land their dream jobs. Networking opportunities will also be available with hiring managers from around the country.

In addition to its placement efforts, Career Center is also dedicated to safety and racial equality in the workplace. To make these goals a reality for companies of all sizes, Harris has created the Safe at Work Pledge, a simple-yet-comprehensive guide that demonstrates how putting people first is always good for business.

"With Career Center, Kimberly has assembled a national network of career professionals that is nothing short of amazing," said You42 CEO Chris Moreau. "Economic empowerment is only possible if you have the right opportunities. The Career Center Network is ready to connect people to those opportunities so that everyone can reach their full potential."
