B Sharp Music Foundation's Electronic Music Scholarship Goes Viral With the Music Alliance Academy
LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2020 (Newswire.com) - B Sharp, a Las Vegas nonprofit, has raised funds to distribute $25,000 for those with the love and talent for music. Full and partial scholarships are available for professional industry development at Las Vegas-based Music Alliance Academy. This scholarship has been allocated to the Music Alliance Academy’s online course Music Management and Marketing.
Music was already spiking in a pre-pandemic world and now International Data firm Nielsen predicts new peaks in streaming consumption. Major artists are ramping up and taking action: Diplo, Armin van Buuren, Afrojack, Martin Garrix, Major Lazer, Steve Aoki and Dropkick Murphys, to name a few.
“We believe in dreams. They inspire goals, commitment, passion and a focus on knowledge. We believe dreams keep you in school, your single best chance in life,” said Ronnie F. Lee, B Sharp President.
This three-month part-time online course will give each student an understanding of the complex structure and legal side of the music industry and give the tools to navigate their strategic career plan. They will be given an insider's look at the music industry from the perspective of the artist and business manager, as well as personalized career development, management, artist branding social media, distribution, sales and marketing, negotiating contracts and applying for jobs/gigs.

About B Sharp Foundation
B Sharp Foundation is committed to Las Vegas high school students through real-life incentives to stay in school, using music as the connection for students and their community. The high school dropout rate for Clark County leaves too many young adults at high risk for unemployment, poverty, government assistance and potential incarceration. B Sharp is about music and believes music can cross many barriers. Music is a bridge that leads to graduation, community involvement, education and active learning.
