B-Mo Fit Launches Youth Sports Training Program
Online, May 22, 2014 (Newswire.com) - Youth and high school sports are more competitive than ever. Nobody knows this better than Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Maureen Corristan, owner of B-Mo Fit. Starting Monday, June 9, Corristan will launch four-week programs for strength, speed and agility at Extra Innings in Sarasota, to share her revolutionary techniques to build an athlete from the ground up.
"This program will not only help make youth and high school athletes stronger and faster, but foundationally stable, which will decrease injury and increase performance," said Corristan.
Along with Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist Matt Eshelmen, Corristan will be instructing Speed & Agility Academy athletes on how to improve acceleration, lateral speed, cutting and change of direction. The Strength and Conditioning athletes will receive mobility, stability, total body strength, core and power workouts that will take their sport-specific performance to the next level.
Strength training will meet on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and Speed & Agility training will meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both academies will be divided into two sessions. The first session will be for high school athletes and will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. and 7:45 to 8:45 p.m. The second session will be for middle school athletes and will run from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. and 6:45 to 7:45 p.m. Price packages will range from $14 to $17 per session. Participants who register by June 2 receive a 20 percent discount. To register or for more information, call Maureen Corristan at (941) 320-6507 or email Maureen@bmofit.com.
