Animalplex.com Puts Your Beloved Pet on the Plane

Flying can be a scary experience for some, however, today there are newly confident people conquering their fears with their Emotion Support Animal in tow.  This has become a trend that is supported by the DSM-IV (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders) and psychiatrist around the United States.  Americans over the past several years have taken advantage of service dogs due to physical and mental disabilities taking them to establishments like restaurants and stores as well as on public transportation.

A letter is needed from a psychiatrist stating that a person has a mental disability and has been recommended to carry an ESA animal on board flights across the country. DMV-IV disorders include learning disorders, motor skills disorders, communication disorder, developmental disorder, ADD or disruptive behavior disorder, dementia, cognitive disorders, substance abuse, schizophrenia, depression, bipolar disorder and anxiety.

With an ESA letter, it’s possible to see other sorts of animals in public places.  Hollis Gillespie, a former flight attendant stated, “You get on an aircraft and the cabin looks like a barnyard.”  She says she has seen snakes, birds and pigs. “Often it’s about the money, because one way to travel with a pet on some airlines can be up to $600, depending on the size of the animal.”

Go to animalplex.com or emotionalsupportanimalcenter.com for more information on how to obtain a letter to present as well as answering questions regarding immunizations and FAQ’s.  "We at AnimalPlex care about our readers and our furry and fuzzy friends.  I, as a writer, bring my cat to work every day with me and he softens the office.  Anderson Pooper was a foster cat that a lady named Heda introduced me to a few months ago.  Learning about the ESA, I know now that the next time I fly, I can easily get a letter for Andy to board the plane with me."
