America's Rehab Campuses to Award Humanitarian Scholarship to Qualifying Students
TUCSON, Ariz., November 1, 2018 (Newswire.com) - America’s Rehab Campuses, a premier drug rehab in Arizona, is pleased to offer a Humanitarian Scholarship to students who apply and qualify for the financial award.
Those who are chosen for the honor will receive up to $1,500 for use towards their undergraduate or graduate education programs. America’s Rehab Campuses is looking to award students who are passionate about serving their community, utilizing social responsibility in the healthcare industry and giving back to those in need.
To be considered for the scholarship, candidates must meet the following criteria:
Be enrolled in a bachelor or graduate program at a college or university.
Studying to receive a degree in Behavioral Sciences or Social Services.
Must be age 18 or older.
In addition to meeting the scholarship criteria, applicants must submit a 500-word, double-spaced essay detailing how the financial award would aid in the student’s educational journey. Candidates are asked to cite personal experiences which highlight examples of humanitarian or philanthropic efforts in social settings for community service or health care. Candidates’ essays should also discuss any ideologies or individuals who influenced their decision to pursue a degree in Behavioral Sciences or Social Services.
