Alliance Event Management on Philanthropy and Conference

​​The President of Alliance Event Management discussed the team’s latest giving efforts, as well as a recent leadership conference. She also offered details about her newest hiring efforts and searches for interns.

“In keeping with the Alliance Event Management value of philanthropy, my colleagues and I recently offered a donation to Knoxville Area Rescue Ministries (KARM),” said Chloe C., the company’s President. “They do great work for the citizens of our community, and contributing even just a little is such a rewarding experience for us.”

Chloe explained that KARM provides almost 1,000 meals to the region’s underserved individuals and families daily, and offers emergency and residential shelter to nearly 400 every night. While meeting these basic needs, the agency’s workers build relationships with the people they serve and go on to provide job-training opportunities. They open the doors to self-sufficiency and long-term well-being.

“Of course, there’s more to what we do than our charitable endeavors,” Chloe stated. “Learning and networking are also key components of the Alliance Event Management culture. We indulged in both activities during a recent leadership conference in Dallas, Texas. It was an informative experience with a ton of relationship-building. These events are whirlwinds because there is so much happening over the course of a few days, but they are always worthwhile.”
