Advantage Concepts, Inc. Promotes Holiday Volunteering

Charitable giving has always been part of the Advantage Concepts, Inc. culture. The holiday season warrants additional effort, and the team is preparing for end-of-year giveback activities.

“It seems that more attention is given to those in need during the holidays than at any other time of year,” said Mike L. the president of Advantage Concepts, Inc. “Although we assist the disadvantaged no matter what the season, we also want to spread some extra cheer during these months.”

Mike explained that he wants all his people to be fully invested in giving back, so he makes sure the entire team participates in all relevant discussions. When everyone involved is afforded input, they can come to a decision regarding which charity to assist, and the chances are high that it will be one they all value.

“There are countless giveback options, particularly during the holiday season,” Mike stated. “For instance, there are always food, clothing, and toy drives. It’s also an option to help sort, wrap, and deliver items. Some agencies have their own stores, where eligible participants can visit and select gifts for their families at no cost. Volunteers can help these individuals find what they need.”

According to Mike, the aging population must also be remembered. Many elderly individuals spend the holidays alone, or in nursing homes with few visitors. Advantage Concepts, Inc.’s team has brought gifts and flowers to the aging, in hopes of bringing cheer. Groups that are especially jubilant can even sing carols.

Advantage Concepts, Inc.s Leader Combines Holiday Events With Community Giveback

“As we focus on our holiday volunteer plans, we’re also thinking about our own seasonal celebrations,” Mike continued. “In fact, we’ve discussed combining the two. Our Advantage Concepts, Inc. associates have some creative ideas, and one of my favorites is that each person who attends our annual party be required to bring an item for the disadvantaged.”

“Another good idea is to host parties to put together care packages for troops overseas,” Mike concluded. “Basic items like socks and notebooks are greatly appreciated. These soldiers put their lives on the line for us, and we would never want them to feel forgotten. Once again, it’s crucial to remember that the troops, the elderly, or the otherwise disadvantaged need us throughout the year – not just during the holidays. We have joy to spread, and we are committed to doing so at every opportunity. It’s nothing less than an honor.”
