A Progressive Approach to Event Planning With a Pioneer Work Ethic .

Emily Burton, a celebrity event planner and founder of Emily Burton Designs, has announced that she will now be accepting corporate and luxury event clients from coast to coast.  After a recent trip to California where Emily was featured as a guest speaker at David Tutera's Event Planning Symposium, she has decided that she is ready to expand her company from the southern coast to allow her brand to grow.

Emily Burton Designs started as a one-man show in St. Simons Island Georgia when a southern bride found Emily’s contact information and asked her to plan a 400-guest wedding in two months from the ground up. With limited time and manpower Emily, a newlywed at the time, moved into the venue and worked day and night to build a wedding venue by hand. Word spread of her hard work and before she knew it, Emily was asked to be on the WeTV reality competition, Celebrations.

From Weddings to Celebrity event planning for stars like Cynthia Bailey of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, Big Ang of Mod Wives filmed out of New York City, and Reza Farahan a west coast real estate mogul and star of reality TV show Shahs of Sunset, Emily has proven her talent precedes whichever coast she is working on.

Emily Burton has stated, “It has always been the goal of Emily Burton Designs to plan and design luxury events, award shows, and events for Fortune 500 corporations, but I wanted to build a strong reputation for myself in the industry before I expanded my company. We live in an era where business owners are afraid of "getting their hands dirty" so to speak, but that is what I have built my business on. I come from a small town in Georgia where work ethic is what makes you who you are, and I preach that philosophy to my employees. At Emily Burton Design we work as a team from the foundation up to the final product. I truly listen to my clients and I make the event about their goals, not mine.”
