9 billion US $ Company Nipro Corporation Japan embarks upon its business in India with a vision to increase the company's productivity & improve the quality of the product, by installing a new furnace, for better consumer satisfaction in an increasingly dynamic Indian market. Recently at a press conference held in New Delhi , the company's officials spoke to the media about their new business venture.

Indian counterpart's MD is J.K.Aggarwal and the company will be set up at Meerut. The Nipro Corporation's President Minoru Sano and the company's director Hideo Okamoto were present during the press conference. President Minoru Sano spoke to the media about the launch of the company. "India has one the most stable markets and economy in the world. Right now it is the best time to invest in a new venture." Setting up a Japanese company in India will definitely prove to be beneficial as people in India are familiar with the rich and good quality of the Japanese goods. Be it pens or cars or mobile phones, Japan has the most advanced technology. When asked to Mr. J. K. Aggarwal he said "I am confident that Nipro Corporation will flourish in India as Japanese products have been very well accepted in India.

In 1954, NIPRO started its business with the sales of glass ampoules and bottles in Japan. Since then, for decades, NIPRO has been accumulating its own technology related to glass products including ampoule, vial and thermos bulb processing. Today in Japan, NIPRO holds an overwhelming market share for ampoules around 60%, and for thermos Flasks around 99%.

Based on its technology accumulated in Japan, NIPRO is now further strengthening its stronghold in the overseas markets by aggressively promoting its glass business in India.
