Whitewater, WI, April 12, 2016 (Newswire.com) - The Emerging Administrators Academy (Emerging AD) continues to expand heading into its 4th year with the announcement of Emerging AD On the Road at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater. In partnership with the University of Whitewater’s College of Education and Professional Studies Higher Education Athletic Administration Graduate Program, this 2-day conference taking place on April 30 – May 1, 2016 is open to upper level undergraduate and graduate students interested in Sport Management/Athletic Administration; current Coordinators, Directors, Assistant Athletic Directors, Associate Athletic Directors, Senior Associate Athletic Directors and aspiring Athletic Directors.
Created and founded by Clayton State’s Director of Athletics, Tim Duncan, extending the Emerging AD experience on more college campuses was a goal to further grow the focus of education and development. “I’m looking forward to bringing the Emerging Administrators Academy to our colleagues at the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater,” shares Duncan. “As I’ve stated last year, it’s only right to target our educational program designed for intercollegiate athletic administrators to a college campus”.

Emerging Administrators Academy was developed to fill a gap in the professional development life-cycle of Intercollegiate Athletic Administrators. Emerging AD will provide hands-on training by athletic directors whose experience and insight working in the industry will help in the development and training of collegiate athletic administrators to advance their careers.
