MoreFunPlay Unveil EU BETA for Blade 9 MMORPG

BRUSSELS, October 2013 - Games developer MoreFunPlay is proud to announce the EU release of Blade 9, the up-and-coming MMORPG smash.

A fantasy epic telling the tale of nine ancient weapons, the online hit Blade 9 has certainly made waves in Asia. Blade 9's rise has not gone unnoticed and the company has decided to release the game in BETA form for the European market.

MMORPG's often prove to be very popular, so it seemed a logical next step for MoreFunPlay to expand the reach of their game into the European market.

MoreFunPlay representative Hendry Wang, explains the company's move into Western markets:
"We've had such a great response to the game in Asia, especially in China, where the fans have been so amazing. We'd also like to thank our fans in Taiwan, Korea, and the Philippines. It seemed like the logical next step, bringing the game to Europe - so new fans can enjoy our product.''

Mr. Wang continued: "Our Blade 9 community management team in Brussels are doing a great job at drumming up support for the game as well as easing new fans into the game''. For Mr. Wang, the decision to host the community management team in the heart of Europe made perfect sense:

"By localizing our game and offering community management services from Europe, we're able to cater to the needs of our growing multilingual fan base. It's a fantastic opportunity to welcome fans to the game in all languages, as well as making the transitional process easier for Blade 9 veterans."

The 'transitional process' mentioned by Mr. Wang refers to the localization process that ensures Blade 9 a smooth transition into Europe. Western audiences are well accustomed to particular aesthetics or details, from storyline tone, to physical appearance of the characters in-game. MoreFunPlay took this into account when localizing the game for Western audiences:

"We are well aware of the differences between Eastern and Western gamers and have shaped Blade 9 to reflect the preferences of western players - everything from storyline revisions to character customization edits have been taken into consideration. A lot of the changes have resulted from community feedback and we are keen to share the journey of this game with our community - we actively encourage their input for the game."
