C3 Studios Does Post-Production Final Cut on Larry Fleeman 100 Pro Late Models Race to Be Aired Memorial Weekend to Over 100 Million

The Larry Fleeman Memorial 100 race joins the TV tradition in professional motorsports making its debut on cable networks beginning today, May 23, through Memorial Day, and will be syndicated into more than 100 million households nationwide.

Memorial Day weekend in professional motorsports will be a smorgasbord of race events this year with the Indianapolis 500, Coca-Cola 600, Grand Prix of Monaco, and now the Larry Fleeman Memorial 100 featuring Pro Late Models.

The high-speed, 100-lap Pro Late Model racing event will make its 1 hour taped delayed television debut on cable networks beginning toady, Friday, May 23, through Memorial Day and will be syndicated into more than 100 million households nationwide. The program will air a total of 53 times on nine different networks across the country and Puerto Rico.

North Carolina fans with the Time Warner Cable Sports Channel will see the Larry Fleeman Memorial 100 on Sunday, May 25 at Noon Eastern Time. Meanwhile, fans with Comcast Sports Southeast in Georgia, Florida, North and South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Tennessee, Arkansas, Kentucky, and Missouri will be able to watch the half-mile Pro Late Model dual for the first time on Monday, May 26 at Noon Eastern Time. Viewers can expect to be on the edge of their seats with commentary from NASCAR racing legend and former USAC Silver Crown Champion, Kenny Schrader, and celebrated veteran motorsports announcer, Rick Benjamin.

The race was originally captured live on May 3, at the Gresham Motorsports Park in Jefferson, GA by the Carolinas Production Group, with C3 Studios completing post-production work on the final cut of the 1-hour taped delayed program. The Larry Fleeman Memorial 100 is the first time a Pro Late Model racing event will be nationally telecast from GMP. 2014 marks the third consecutive year Fleeman has been on the marquee for a premiere event at the Jefferson, GA speedplant. In 2012 and 2013 GMP honored Fleeman, who passed away on May 2, 2012.
