Eagle Ranch Releases Impact Report

Impact Report highlights key outcomes and expanded services

Eagle Ranch (www.eagleranch.org) has released its annual Impact Report, showcasing key results and newly introduced services over the last year.

Based in Northeast Georgia, Eagle Ranch has a nationally recognized family renewal program with a broad range of offerings, including crisis assessments, professional counseling and residential programming. Since opening in 1985, Eagle Ranch has worked with more than 2,000 children and families to support them in finding hope and healing.

Highlights from the Impact Report include:

  • 2,168 outpatient counseling sessions were held at The Wings Center at Eagle Ranch, which provided its first full year of services in 2022, with outpatient counseling, retreats and nonprofit consulting.
  • 368 children, family members and individuals were served by Eagle Ranch and The Wings Center.
  • 100 percent of students at the on-campus SACS-accredited Eagle Ranch School showed improvement in one or more subject areas, exceeding national standards in key academic areas such as reading.

In addition to encouraging statistics, the Impact Report features new services offered by Eagle Ranch, including a pilot Day Student Program launched in the 2022-2023 school year. The program enables students to attend Eagle Ranch School and provides the student and family counseling and support services without requiring campus residency. This successful pilot will expand in the 2023-2024 academic year to accommodate students entering grades 4 and 5.

"We continue to witness incredible stories of families reunited, children healed, and faith restored or found for the first time," said Eagle Ranch Executive Director John Shackelford. "Eagle Ranch remains dedicated to providing affordable, high-quality mental health and family support services to the community."
