Pro BMX street rider and X-Games medalist, Brian Kachinsky, is set to open a new invite-only BMX facility called, "The Bakery", in Lacuna Artist Lofts. The Bakery is a one-of-a-kind, private, invite only facility for BMX riders and is located in Chicago's Pilsen neighborhood. The Bakery Grand Opening will take place on April 10, 2013 from 6PM to 9PM at Lacuna Artist Lofts located at 2150 S. Canalport, Chicago.

"I am ecstatic to have expanded Lacuna Artist Lofts with a partnership of this magnitude. Brian is a perfectionist at his craft and exudes the professionalism that we carry here in our building. This partnership is one-of-a-kind in which myself and my family are proud to be attached to," said Joey Cacciatore, owner of Lacuna Artist Lofts.

Kachinsky, in conjunction with Lacuna Artist Lofts, will host a grand opening and the unveiling of the new Bakery facility. A DK Bike and a signed photo will be raffled off, of which all proceeds will go to the Athlete Recovery Fund Charity (ARF). The ARF provides charitable medical and educational assistance to professional athletes who participate in Freestyle BMX, FMX and Skate. Throughout the event, guests will be able to preview a never before seen video of The Bakery. This video will chronicle its inception through to the final completion, which now resides at Lacuna. DJ Mattboywhite will be providing the musical styling for the event, as well as, tracks from previous Bakery productions.

"I'm excited to showcase my creation and my paradise. BMX has allowed me to see the world and live my dream. The Bakery is a BMX street rider's utopia. This versatile facility has pushed BMX to new levels in the past and will certainly do so in the near future. Having world class riding happen in a world class building and world class city is something special and something to celebrate!" said Brian Kachinsky, the creator and visionary of The Bakery

Kachinsky first made his dream of The Bakery a reality in an old historic bread factory in Chicago at an undisclosed location. Since its original opening in 2011, The Bakery has found a new home in Lacuna Artist Lofts. The facility has brought Kachinsky's vision to create a street riders paradise to life. This versatile new facility has ramps, rails, ledges and much more allowing riders the opportunity to train and ride all year long without having to worry about the weather. Not only will "The Bakery" host local BMX and street riders, but it has been known to host pro riders form all over the US, Europe and even South Africa, and its new location is expected to draw an even greater gathering of talent.

This Bakery has not only caught the interest of the BMX community, but has been featured on ESPN, Fuel TV and a multitude of print publications.
