The organisation behind the UK's premier conferences has announced the launch of Weird 11. The two day event which will be held on the 17th and 18th of September follows on from the hugely successful Weird 10 event held in August last year. With high profile speakers, live music and the screening of the award winning film 'The Stone', Weird 11 will push the boundaries of alternative conferences in the UK.

This years speakers will be Robert Bauval, Graham Hancock, Nick Pope, Andy Thomas, Andy Roberts, Andrew Gough, Marcus Allen, Tony Eccles, Lucy Wyatt and Dennis Price. Over the weekend they will be discussing a variety of fascinating, thought provoking, controversial and evidence based topics from ancient technologies to cryptozoology, myths and legends to alien existence.

Weird 11 will also screen a film by Philip Gardiner, 'The Stone'. Winner of Best Foreign Film at the Mountain Film Festival and hailed as a new era in film-making, The Stone will be one of the strangest mind trips you have ever taken. Unlock the secret codes hidden within the story; unravel the ancient mysterious truths and enjoy the beautiful cinematography that creates an air of truly weird emotions.

The event will also host 'The Programme Initiative' a live audio visual feast by a talented band that involves the audience in a story of space exploration and mystery. The story goes... "The Kepler Corporation is Earths leading specialist in space exploration, aeronautics and off world colonisation. The Program Initiative is Kepler's latest and most ambitious initiative since the installation of the KILO Moon outposts. The objective of The Program Initiative is to investigate the SEA phenomenon surrounding our Sun known informally as 'The Anomaly."

Weird 11 will also launch several titles by well known authors and also be the launch point of a new UK magazine on the unexplained and mysterious. With a huge market stall area and refreshments at the event this weekend is something not to be missed.
