University Park Alliance Is Proud To Present The 2011 University Park Arts Fair & Food Fest At Grace Park
Online, June 7, 2011 (Newswire.com) - University Park Alliance (UPA) is proud to present the 2011 University Park Arts Fair & Food Fest at Grace Park. The annual Festival (formerly known as the University Park Art Fair) will take place Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011 (10 a.m. - 6 p.m.) at the historic Grace Park on Perkins St. The festival will feature lively entertainment, international food by Akron locals, a Kids Cove, an Arts and Culture Village, and more.
"The University Park Arts Fair & Food Fest, now in its 6th year, attracts people from all over the Greater Akron area each year," says Eric Anthony Johnson, Ph.D., executive director of University Park Alliance, a non-profit community development corporation dedicated to the revitalization and transformation of University Park, the 50-block neighborhood surrounding The University of Akron.
A variety of local University Park area businesses, along with dozens of regional artists, who will exhibit their fine arts and crafts, are expected to participate.
