TopTenRealEstateDeals.com Presents Hot Home News: Giant Cheesehead Home & Ohio Mansion of Greed

Every week, TopTenRealEstateDeals.com delivers the latest scoop on today's hot real estate news. Celebrity, historic, famous homes and much more. Their web features have been covered by Time, CNBC, USA Today and many other major media.

This week's Top 10 homes spotlight at TopTenRealEstateDeals.com includes the largest, most lavish and most expensive estate in Wisconsin going to auction on November 14th. Its address is Door County, known worldwide as one of the most sought after locations in the United States with more than 250 miles of shoreline on Lake Michigan. The 43-room, 35,000 square foot main house consists of four en-suite bedrooms, two-story grand parlor, formal dining room, 14-seat Art Deco theater with ticket booth, candy counter and popcorn popper. Sur la Baie was priced at $19.5 million - it will be auctioned by sealed bid.

In other home news:

The New York home of Robert F. Kennedy, his late wife Mary, and Taylor Swift's boyfriend Conor Kennedy just went on the market at $4 million, and sold almost faster than a new Taylor Swift album. The 10,000 square foot home on 10 acres was designed by Mary, and was where she committed suicide in May. The home is outstanding for its green vibes such as using recycled building materials, geothermal heating and cooling, fiber optic lighting and energy efficient appliances.

Another giant mansion, this one on the Scioto River in Columbus Ohio, has been at the center of an ongoing saga of greed, sex and deceit. The 26,000 square foot home started out as a routine 5,000 square foot contemporary until a prior owner decided to recreate it as a European palace with fountains, Tuscan murals, balconies, castle-like gates, built-in stage, hair salon and 42 furnaces. But then he died. The new owner was a Columbus area developer who soon orchestrated a number of desperate bank, tax and loan schemes to keep his empire rolling. He had lots of help from his wife, realtor/mistress, accountant and friends. So far, eleven people have been convicted for taking part in the fraud. The home is listed at $3.99 million, down from $4.7 million.
