Stalker Chevy Anxiously Awaits The 2014 Chevy SS
Online, May 29, 2012 (Newswire.com) - Performance sedan enthusiasts get ready. GM has recently announced that the 2014 Chevrolet SS will arrive in showrooms in late 2013.
While details surrounding the four-door are still being kept under wraps, there are some things that prospective buyers can expect from the SS. First and foremost, expect power and speed with this model. The SS moniker has been used on several of Chevy's flagship muscle cars, first appearing on a 1957 Chevy Corvette racing prototype. The SS, trademarked by GM earlier in 2012, has since appeared on models like the Impala, Camaro, and more recently the Chevy Cobalt.
Another feature of the SS will give Chevy shoppers something they haven't seen from Chevy in 17 years, a rear-wheel drive V8 sedan. Chevy has confirmed that the 2014 SS will be a limited edition and with the past branding of the SS, it is highly likely that this model will not come with a V6 option.
To add more excitement to the release of the 2014 SS, the Chevy SS will also serve as Chevy's NASCAR Sprint Cup racecar, debuting at the 2013 Daytona 500. Chevrolet has used NASCAR to help promote mass-production vehicles like, the Monte Carlo and Impala, but the limited edition Chevy SS looks to be targeted more toward car enthusiast.
Stalker Chevrolet is proud to announce this exciting development in Chevy news and looks forward to releasing more updates on the 2014 Chevy SS.
