Shades of Happiness announces 2nd Corporate Cricket Tournament: HOPE CUP 2010
Online, September 3, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Shades of Happiness, the Delhi-based NGO that works towards improving lives of street children, announced the dates for the 2nd Hope Cup, the big-league corporate cricket tournament. The event, which saw participation from various corporate like WNS, INTELENET, CSC, CARGIL, etc. last year, would be hosted at St. Columba's School ground, New Delhi from October 23-31, 2010.
Hosted over two action-packed weekends, the Hope Cup 2010 will see the top 16 corporate teams from Delhi, Gurgaon and Noida, compete in this League and Knock-out tournament. Proceeds from this event will be used by Shades of Happiness to start a shelter for the homeless. The preliminary round would consist of 4 groups, consisting of four teams each. Each team will have to battle it out over 3 league matches to make it to the semi-finals. Winners of Hope Cup 2010 walk away with the rolling trophy and cash prize of upto Rs. 75,000.
