Safety Technology's Rearview Mirror Camera Offers Video Protection for Drivers

Nothing proves a case and protects the rights of the innocent quicker than video captured by a camera. Anyone who has ever wished for a surveillance camera at the time of an accident, will be interested in this rearview mirror camera

Accidents, road rage, and even criminal activity can be recorded in real life time with the help of video surveillance concealed conveniently and discreetly at the driver's fingertips.

Nothing proves a case and protects the rights of the innocent quicker than video captured by a camera. Police, private investigators, cab drivers, bus drivers and anyone who has ever wished for a surveillance camera at the time of an accident will be interested in this rearview mirror camera. With a rotation allowance of 330 degrees, it can continuously record anything happening in front of or even inside the car. There's also a wireless external camera that can be mounted on the rear dash or attached to the outside of the car to video the action coming up from behind.

Looks and performs just like a regular mirror but this high-tech addition to the hidden camera family includes a 1/4 inch digital CMOS Color Camera built in, and a slot that accepts SD Memory cards up to 16GB (8GB SD card included). This rearview mirror also doubles as a video/audio recorder and a DVR (digital video recorder).

When an incident on the road takes place that results in an impasse as to who is at fault, a video camera can save the victim time and money. "In the past, surveillance equipment was only used by the government and private investigators. But now more and more people are finding a need for this specialized but easy to use equipment," says Michael Gravette, owner of Safety Technology. "No other method can give you the undeniable proof or evidence that a surveillance camera can."

A 3.6 inch TFT LCD (Thin Film Transistor Liquid Crystal Display) monitor on the mirror allows you to instantly playback video and watch it in real-time 30 FPS. At the touch of a button, the video switches between the front camera or the external camera in the rear. Operates completely with a built in rechargeable battery that runs for approximately 3 hours, or it can be powered by the car's auxiliary cigarette lighter. Easily recharge the battery by plugging the USB cord (included) into a computer. Installs with no problem by clipping onto any existing rearview mirror.
