Phantom Tracking's Motorcycle Alarm Has Incorporated An Advanced Crash Response System
Online, September 17, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Lately there has been a large influx of motorcycle alarms available to motorcycle owners. While most of the alarms available are mainly a passive type system there are a few active alarms that are standing out ahead of the pack. One such device is the Phantom Tracking Motorcycle Alarm System.
Phantom seems to be establishing a strong foothold in the Motorcycle Alarm industry by developing the only fully active alarm system that includes a crash response system.
This system uses a 3D accelerometer, once calibrated, can sense conditions experienced in a crash and notifies the monitoring center of a possible crash and its precise location.
At that point, the 24 hr live monitoring center will attempt to reach the rider to determine the actual severity of the crash and if an EMS response is needed. If for some reason the rider is unable to answer their cell, Phantom's monitoring center will dispatch emergency personnel immediately to the GPS location of the bike.
Make no mistake about it, this is a powerful feature for motorcycle owners and is the only device on the market that offers this type of protection.
According to The HURT report, since 1997 motorcycle rider fatalities have increased by 89 percent from 2,116 to 4,008 in 2004. NHTSA previously released a comprehensive report in 2001 based on increases in motorcycle rider fatalities for two consecutive years (1998 and 1999). The latest 2004 data show that motorcycle rider fatalities increased for the seventh year in a row since 1997.
"If the patterns seen in the analyses continue as seen from the combination of data sources, there is the likelihood that the increase in motorcycle rider fatalities will continue in the future years also."
Not only is the motorcycle alarm system Phantom developed unique to the market, more importantly it will save lives.
