MeoowzResQ Announces Date and Location for Their 2nd Annual Meoowz and Merlot Fundraiser

Online, October 14, 2011 (Newswire.com) - MeoowzResQ announces date and location for their 2nd Annual Meoowz and Merlot Fundraiser

Orange, CA - Since 2001 MeoowzResQ has been rescuing unwanted cats and kittens saved from shelters throughout California. Since 2009 MeoowzResQ has been designated as a 501(c )(3)nonprofit. This year MeoowzResQ is pleased to announce it's partnership with Crush Wine Bar in Lake Forest who is hosting this year's fundraising location.

MeoowzResQ has over 100 volunteers and almost 400 foster kittens and cats in their fostering system. The rescue supplies all medical treatment, food, litter and miscellaneous supplies to the fosters. In order for MeoowzResQ to be able to support such a system, they rely on donations from adoptions and other sources. The annual Meoowz and Merlot fundraiser is the largest of their yearly fundraisers.

Crush Wine Bar has been in their current Lake Forest location since 2009. Chef Albert Constandine, who is also the owner, has created a casually elegant restaurant offering a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere for his customers. The food consists of California classic dishes with a touch of European influence. The restaurant also doubles as a wine bar that has almost 200 handpicked wines offering a choice for every palate and a pairing for every dish.

This years' fundraiser promises to be a fun-filled afternoon enjoying good wine, appetizers, raffles and a silent auction. MeoowzResQ is also looking for more donations to add to the donations already to be included in the raffle and silent auction. 100% of the proceeds will go directly back into the rescue to support the foster system.

The event date is Saturday November 12, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. The cost of the ticket is $40.00 presale and $45.00 at the door.
