Marian Harding Announces Westminster Kennel Club's 135th Year
Online, June 15, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Knoxville, TN, June 15, 2010 -- Marian Harding of Hardinhaus Miniature Schnauzers reports that the Westminster Kennel Club is the worldwide authority on dog breeding and competition shows. In February of 2011, says Marian Harding, the Westminster Kennel Club (WKC) will hold its 135th annual All Breed Dog Show at New York City's Madison Square Garden. Marian Harding explains that this will be an historic and momentous show. For one thing, reports Marian Harding, the WKC 135th Annual Dog Show will debut six breeds, which have recently become eligible for competition. Due to their recognition by the American Kennel Club, explains Marian Harding, these breeds will enjoy the honor of Westminster competition this coming February 2011. Marian Harding reports the six newly introduced breeds are the Boykin Spaniel, Bluetick Coonhound, Redbone Coonhound, Cane Corso, Leonberger, and the Icelandic Sheepdog.
The WKC 2011 Annual Dog Show, adds Marian Harding, will be a fantastic two-day event in the heart of New York City. On the first day - Valentine's Day - notes Marian Harding, judges will rank the breeds in 4 groups; Hound, Toy, Herding, and Non-Sporting. Once the breeds are judged in their Groups, explains Marian Harding, the Groups themselves will be judged that same evening. Tuesday is the follow-up day of the WKC 2011 competition, says Marian Harding, and it will feature the judging of breeds in the Working, Terrier, and Sporting Groups. On Tuesday evening those three Groups will be judged, adds Marian Harding, followed by the coveted Best In Show award.
Marian Harding reports that tickets go on sale in September for the upcoming WKC Annual Dog Show at Madison Square Garden in New York City. Tickets are available in reserved seating and general admission sections, reports Marian Harding, on a first come, first served basis. Those who purchased tickets last year, informs Marian Harding, are entitled to purchase their same seats again, or better if they prefer. Renewal and new ticket orders can be purchased directly through the WKC until December 1st, 2010. After that date, explains Marian Harding, all ticket purchases must take place through Ticketmaster or Madison Square Garden. All tickets will be mailed in January, notes Marian Harding, except for those ordered through the WKC offices in Europe or Asia. Tickets ordered overseas will be made available at the Madison Square Garden "Will Call Window #5"
