Online, April 8, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Works included the installation of a new customer service lift, building a brand new reception area and installing 24/7 access control to allow customers to visit whenever they wish.
"We are thrilled that customers can now enjoy true 24/7 access completely free of charge. The improvements to the facility can only help our customers enjoy their stay with us further", said Kabineh Koroma, Facility Manager.
The works took nearly one year to complete and a six figure investment figure and is another step towards perfecting this huge store. . "The Australian Board have shown their commitment by investing heavily in this facility during the recession much to the delight of our customers and staff".
Now with 4 floors, 700 rooms and 40 different size storage units to choose from, customers are spoilt for choice.
"They took the hassle out of storing my furniture and I really felt like I was booking into a hotel. The staff made it all so easy and the place has got to be seen to be believed" commented Terry Howard, a recent household customer.
The installation of the new lift involved lowering the entire existing lift shaft down 400mm to allow for new electric door motors to be installed. The ground floor had to be excavated to allow the cab to stop in alignment.
