It is managed and promoted by the Heating and Hot Water Industry Council (HHIC).
Benchmark requires that installers complete a Benchmark checklist when commissioning a new heating appliance installation. Failure to install and commission according to the manufacturer's instructions and complete the Benchmark Commissioning Checklist will invalidate the warranty for Gas Boiler installations. Benchmark also runs a quality scheme for installers who wish to demonstrate their commitment to raising standards.
