Lichter Real Estate Team Gives Back to the Community
Online, March 11, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Omaha, Nebr., March 4, 2010 - Once a small ferry stop on the banks of the Missouri River, Omaha has grown to a population of over 425,000, making it Nebraska's largest city. In such a large city, it can be easy to forget the community values which helped it grow in the first place, but Pat and Linda Lichter always make community involvement a priority.
"Part of what makes Omaha such a great place to live is the community," said Pat. "I feel it's important to give back."
Pat has been involved in community activities since his early twenties. Back then, he was a member of the United States Junior Chamber known as Jaycees, eventually becoming National Vice President and National Chaplin of the USJCI Senate. He also served for 19 years on the Millard Days Committee, a local organization committed to community betterment. Pat has also been an active member of the local Lions Club for 15 years, serving as its president at one time. Involvement in all of these organizations is in addition to about half a dozen other community groups. Both Pat and Linda have also been active members of St. Gerald's Catholic Church for many years.
The Lichters both agree that their community involvement helps them understand the heartbeat of the city in which they base their real estate business. As a result, they are able to share valuable insight with their clients about the area and can help match them to the neighborhoods that best suit the client's needs.
"Being involved in the community actually helps us to serve our clients better," Linda said. "It's great to be able to serve both our beautiful city and new homebuyers at the same time."
Linda and Pat have over 20 years of experience in the real estate industry, a fact that has contributed to their membership in the Number1Expert association of real estate agents. Their Web site, omaha-homes.net, displays a number of positive referrals, as well as home listings, community information, and a quick contact form.
"The Web site is a great place to view all our services and get started in your home search," said Pat. "You can also check out a lot of information about the community from there."
