Greenwich Author, Jay Chalnick, To Release Debut Novel: "Finding Buddha"

A story of fatherhood, love, loss and the discovery of one's true purpose.

Finding Buddha (ISBN: 978-0-692-35837-5) by Greenwich author, Jay Chalnick, is the story about Hubert “Bode” Price, a remarkable 5-year-old boy from Westport, Connecticut, on a cross-country road trip with his father, Matthew. While the pair trek across the U.S. and Baja, Mexico, globally significant events are reaching a boiling point half a world away: China is threatening to appoint the next Dalai Lama, despite the protestations of Tibetan Buddhists.

Throughout the journey we are shown the unique relationship between Bode and his father, and follow as Matthew discovers just how extraordinary his boy is. Their story explores fatherhood, love, loss, letting go, and the discovery of one’s greater purpose.

"I pulled inspiration from my own challenges dealing with loss and purpose, and the comfort I have found in Buddhist ideals and philosophy," said Chalnick.
