Gary Weilage Who Is Signed With Dimi Entertainment In Nashville, Tn Will Be Singing The National Anthem At The 14th Annual Stand For Children Day At Western Kentucky University on June 16th 2011.
Online, June 2, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Community Education and Stand for Children will host the 14th annual Stand for Children Day at the Western Kentucky University. This event will be held in front of the Guthrie Bell Tower (South Lawn of WKU).
Celebration attendees will enjoy enjoy music, games and live entertainment. Last year the event drew a crowd of over 1,000 and is expected to grow those numbers with the help of a local artist, Gary Weilage.
Gary Weilage will be singing the National Anthem. Gary is a well known local artist who graduated from Western Kentucky University with a degree in music. His unique style grabbed the attention of Amplifier Magazine which led to a signing with DIMI Entertainment, Nashville, TN. Gary plays primarily on his electric with a free-handed picking style, having his sound referred to as a 'one man orchestra' or an 'ocean of sound'. Gary also teaches guitar throughout the state of Kentucky giving his students a full theory based instruction, while also supplying a contagious passion for the guitar.
