Fairview Microwave Introduces 500 Watt 3Ghz Attenuators
Online, March 18, 2011 (Newswire.com) - Fairview Microwave has introduced a new series of 500 watt 3 GHZ rf coaxial attenuators, featuring N M/F connectors, 500 watts average power handling capability, maximum vswr of 1.35:1, operation to 3 GHz, and a carrying handle. These units are unidirectional so customers must be careful to apply power only to the input side. The SA3N-500-XX series of microwave coaxial type n attenuators is available in increments of 3, 6, 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 dB. The microweave connectors are manufactured in accordance with Mil-Std-883 and contact plating is in accordance with Mil-G-45204. Applications include high power cellular, wifi, telecomm, and LTE systems where system power levels need to be reduced to a manageable level. The 500watt power handling is more than commonly found in type N attenuators and will find applications in demanding high power environments.
