Exposure Events Team Returns From Bahamas Retreat

ATLANTA, GA - Several members of the Exposure Events team are sporting tans this week. The interactive marketing firm's top performers just returned from a glorious, all-expenses paid retreat in Nassau, Bahamas.

“It was a pleasure to bring these individuals to the Bahamas to enjoy our retreat,” said Exposure Events’ director of operations. “Their hard work throughout the year is what qualified them for this event.”

The director of operations advised that to attend the trip, the Exposure Events team members needed to meet and exceed specific milestones. “Throughout the year, we have various contests and other events through which they can qualify for travel,” he explained. “This would probably be the grand finale.”

"The networking aspect was also crucial," he added. "Our associates met with industry leaders and top performers from other regions. We exchanged ideas and made valuable, lasting connections."

The Bahamas trip was a mix of relaxation and networking for the team. “We were in a tropical paradise, enjoying the sand and surf,” he noted. “There was ample time for play. We also were treated to exciting evening events as well. Overall, this was a great way to wind down after a year of going full throttle serving our customers.”

“The networking aspect was also crucial,” he added. “Our associates met with industry leaders and top performers from other regions. We exchanged ideas and made valuable, lasting connections.”

Exposure Events’ Director of Operations Shares Tips for Travel

The Exposure Events team is often on the road, and the director of operations said that the members have amassed a large number of helpful travel tips as a result. “First, pack as lightly as you can,” he suggested. “Most people over-pack. Whenever possible, think carryon-sized luggage.”

The director of operations suggested scanning the security lines at the airport to see which one is likely to be fastest. “Look for people wearing slip-on shoes, like loafers,” he said. “These are experienced travelers who know how to get through a line quickly. Avoid getting behind a family with small children, especially those using strollers. There’s a lot of unpacking involved.”

Delays are possible with any form of public transportation, so the director of operations suggested that travelers be prepared to optimize any downtime. “While you don’t want to be rude and hold a conference call while waiting by the gate, you can check emails and catch up on correspondence,” he added. “Most airports have Wi-Fi.”

“Travel is a wonderful reward for your team and a great way to bond,” the director of operations concluded. “These are opportunities my team and I are much richer for having taken.”
