E-Cigarette Company Continuing Free Gas Rebates
Online, February 22, 2011 (Newswire.com) - South Beach Smoke, a leading provider of electronic cigarettes, announced it will continue its "Free $100 Gas Rebate" which was set to discontinue this winter. The only statement released on the duration of the rebate was that it would be available for a "limited time". The gas rebates are offered with the purchase of an electronic cigarette starter kit which include e-cigarette battery, cartridges and charger. They and are available for as low as $29.99.
An electronic cigarette is a hand-held electronic device which produces liquid vapor instead of smoke as a delivery system for nicotine. Cigarette smoke, which is created by the combustion of tobacco, produces thick clouds and has a lingering stench. E-Cigarette vapor dissipates into the air and leaves no lingering smell. The items are reusable and contain rechargeable batteries and replaceable cartridges.
As for the correlation between gas rebates and electronic cigarettes, the company stated, "The rebates are primarily a way for us to say thank you to our customers and compel them to try our product (e-cigarette) which are unfamiliar to many." They also stated, "It seems appropriate (the rebate) since many people use e-cigarettes as a way to save money because they are reusable and thus more efficient and cost-effective than traditional cigarettes. This rebate allows them to save even more money".
The company originally offered the $100 gas rebate over the summer of 2010 when gas prices were soaring. Based on its popular demand the e-cigarette company continued the rebate through fall though gas prices subsided and was expected to end it sometime during winter. There were no statements on whether or not this rebate would continue through to spring and summer of 2011.
The South Beach Smoke gas rebate comes with certain conditions: it is limited to one rebate per customer and rebate is broken into $25 per month for four months. The rebates are delivered as gas certificates along with South Beach Smoke Electronic Cigarette Starter Kits.
