Extremism, militancy and terrorism are the violent modes of protest largely adopted by the people who are deprived of their economic, social, judicial, ethnic and political equality, rights and privileges in Pakistan. These hapless people are vulnerable to inducement by non-state actors to indulge in violence and crime in return for money or satisfaction of their basic needs.

Good Governance Forum is engaged in improving governance in Pakistan to alleviate the sufferings of these vulnerable segments of the society. It has over 3000 members from all walks of life dedicated to change the status quo by peaceful and lawful means.

Good Governance Forum is registered with the DESA-United Nations. It was invited to participate in the MDG Summit in the General Assembly in June 2010.

Good Governance Forum appeals to the world citizens to help its struggle to improve governance in Pakistan to alleviate the sufferings of the majority of 180 million fellow human beings squeezed in poverty, unemployment, inflation, corruption, socio-economic inequalities, illiteracy and insecurity. Help us to eliminate the roots of extremism, militancy and terrorism.
