ClimatePro Celebrates Their 37th Year in Business and Looks to Expand Growth With New Canon Oce Arizona UV Printer.
Rohnert Park, CA, April 26, 2016 (Newswire.com) - ClimatePro looks forward to growth and new opportunities with the investment of it’s new Canon Oce Arizona flatbed UV printer.
The company, has had a long history of installing solar control, safety and security, privacy and decorative window films, needed to expand its production capability to meet the demands for more graphic and decorative projects.
The Oce UV printer gives the company the capability of printing decorative window films and wall graphics at rapid speed. The print dries almost instantly using full-color and the option to use white ink. In addition to the white ink, the Oce UV printer can provide a unique printing process to provide textured graphics if desired.
The reason why the company chooses the Oce UV printer instead of a dedicated roll-to-roll machine was to expand into other decorative opportunities. The flatbed option allows the company to print on flat rigid media such as wood, metal, and acrylic. Rigid media up to 4 feet by 8 feet can be printed directly to the surface on the flatbed.
CEO Jeremy Dobbins said: “We wanted to make in investment into the UV print technology but wanted to have the most options available when it came to our printing capabilities. We didn’t want just to limit ourselves to window films.
There are many great machines out there to choose from, but we wanted the dedicated flatbed on our machine as our first UV printer.”
The company has several other printing technologies and finishing equipment on hand, but the Oce UV printer is their first UV ink machine.
Dobbins added: “ Our primary focus is decorative window film including frost and optically clear. It always has been and always will be. I’m extremely proud of what we’ve accomplished as a company, and I look forward to the new and exciting opportunities that this machine brings.”
The company has had the printer installed since January 2016 but only recently started marketing and offering it’s services to customers, including wholesale.
Dobbins said: “ When venturing into new territory we wanted to make sure we had got everything perfect before we started sending product out the door. We have a vast amount of experience with digital printing prior, but with a new machine comes new things to learn. We wanted to make sure we had all the hiccups ironed out.”
