Bedford Village Florist Invites Customers and Community to 10th Anniversary Celebration Event
Online, September 24, 2010 (Newswire.com) - Bedford NY- Bedford Village Florist, located in historic Bedford, New York, is celebrating their 10th year anniversary with an in-store celebration. The event will take place at the Bedford Village Florist, 641 Old Post Rd., on Friday October 1, 2010 from 4-7pm. Champagne and canapes will be served. Everyone is invited to attend.
Bedford Village Florist owner Maureen Laning has worked within the floral industry for over 20 years. In 2000 she had the opportunity to purchase a flower shop in the village. In the 10 years that Laning has owned Bedford Village Florist, it has blossomed, serving area residents and businesses. They specialize in event planning, weddings, bar/bat mitzvahs, holiday decorating, corporate functions and everyday occasions.

Laning is a graduate of commercial floral design, and instructor at the world-renowned New York Botanical Garden. Throughout her career she has worked on a symposium at the Waldorf Astoria for the Flower Council of Holland, and commercial accounts including Nordstrom and Tiffany & Co. In addition, Laning has conducted numerous garden club programs and workshops throughout the region.
