Anne Walsh Grammy Nomination celebration tour back East
Online, May 12, 2010 (Newswire.com) - On Friday June 25th, Anne Walsh will kick off her 2010 summer tour in Boston at the Ryles Jazz Club in Cambridge. Anne has had an exciting year so far, including a Grammy nomination for the track "In the Still of the Night" off of her latest release "Pretty World". Her producer, keyboardist, and husband, Tom Zink, produced and arranged the track which was nominated in the category best arrangement accompanying a vocalist.
A native of Worcester, Anne is looking forward to celebrating her recent successes with her fans, family, and friends on the East Coast. Anne has performed at a number of notable Southern Californian jazz venues already, including The Jazz Bakery, Spazio, Spaghettini's, the new Maya Hotel in Long Beach, and Mozambique. Her live shows keep audiences grooving from start to finish with a mix of original renditions of standards and Brazilian jazz favorites from the likes of Sergio Mendes and Brazil 66.
