SMS Advanced integrates with Trapeze's existing Auriga dispatch system, offering unlimited text messages for a single monthly fee, and provides several essential services to a taxi or private hire company: 1) customer service feedback; 2) job booking confirmation; 3) texts to tell customers their taxi is arriving; and 4) targeted SMS marketing. All of which are free to the passenger.
The customer feedback loop is an especially significant development, since it enables a taxi or private hire company to measure their performance; identify under performing drivers; and to correspond with dissatisfied customers to try to ensure they continue to use their service. An integrated web portal enables office staff to check on feedback received, and even reply to feedback comments directly if they wish, via a simple user interface. Access to the feedback console is of course password-protected, to ensure security of customer details.
