The Tallest Building In Latin America Chooses Wavetec's Display Technology To Make A Content Rich Public Area

Wavetec's display technology will be used to create a landmark in Latin America - The Gran Torre de Santiago.

The tower designed by Argentine architect Cesar Pelli is a significant part of The Constanera Center complex, the biggest ongoing development in Chile, projected as the largest and the most meaningful commercial center in South America.

19thJanuary a contract for the large-scale circular display has been secured by Wavetec. The ticker will be a masterpiece considering the viewing angle and its circular shape with dimensions of 3.67 m. (diameter) x 1.73 m. (height). It will be placed in the central lobby of the mall making it a point of attraction for the visitors. The display will mainly be used for detriment purposes and will be managed by Grupo Digital, which is the largest local advertisement company owning indoor and outdoor advertisement displays.

The entire complex on the total area of 700.000 square meters will comprise a shopping mall, two hotels and two additional office towers. Gran Torre Santiago will be 300 metres (980 ft) tall and 70 stories high with a floor pitch of 4.1 metres (13 ft), what makes it the tallest skyscraper on the continent and second tallest in the Southern Hemisphere.
