An article written by HVAC professionals showing how many local companies hire recent prison inmates now trained in HVAC repair. This article also shows how popular the course is a across state prisons and correctional facilities.

Easy AC, Inc, a Central Florida air conditioning repair company announced the debut of their new ad campaign, HVAC's Dirty Secrets, aimed to educate homeowners on the lesser known side of the HVAC business.

"HVAC repair is one of the trades most commonly taught to inmates," said Dave Whittington, Easy AC cofounder. "Nobody wants a guy in their house that had a violent crime or theft on their record, no matter how good of a technician he is."

Easy AC plans to release one HVAC Dirty Secret every month for the next year, starting with Background Checks, an infomercial based PSA, airing on Tampa television stations to educate homeowners on lack of industry best practices. The full campaign will consist of short educational videos, articles and infographics. "Good people are being taken advantage of," said Easy AC's other co founder, Keith Westbrook. "And it's about time it's stopped. The only way we can do that is by educating the homeowners on what's really going on."

Easy AC, Inc, founded in 2001 and located in Tampa, FL, provides 24 hour air conditioning and heating repair services for residential homeowners. As a factory authorized Carrier dealer, Easy AC offers a suite of HVAC products and services, including sales and installations, clean air systems, UV light filters, energy efficient systems, and sustainable solutions for Hillsborough, Pinellas, Pasco, and Polk counties.
