Westchester County Attorneys Robert F. Davis, Whitney Singleton and Thomas J. Singleton Announce the Formation of Their New Law Firm Singleton Davis & Singleton, PLLC, as of January 1, 2012.

Long time Mount Kisco attorneys, Robert F. Davis, Whitney Singleton and Thomas J. Singleton have announced the formation of their new law firm, Singleton Davis & Singleton, PLLC, as of January 1, 2012.

Mr. Davis was a named partner for over 25 years in a prominent Mount Kisco law firm. Mr. Singleton has been practicing in Mount Kisco for over 50 years and is the former Village Attorney. His son, Whitney Singleton has been practicing with him in the Village for 20 years and is the current Village Attorney.

The firm's offices are located in the historic former U.S. Post Office building at 120 East Main Street in Mount Kisco. Famed architect, Mott Schmidt, designed the old Mount Kisco Post Office and as in many of his buildings, Schmidt deftly accommodated the requirements of modern life: a post office and municipal government office complex within the envelope of the 18th century idiom known as Georgian. Like many of his eclectic contemporaries, Schmidt demonstrated that with knowledge and creative adaptation, the style could not only endure, but also provide continuity with cultural traditions cherished by the residents of a town like Mount Kisco or Bedford, where he made his own home. This building compares favorably to other 1930s colonial revival public buildings, such as Cameron Clark's Town Hall in Washington, Connecticut, and Aymar Embury's Guild Hall in East Hampton, New York.

The firm's practice is concentrated in the areas of land use and zoning, real estate and transactions, civil litigation and appeals, environmental law, municipal law, trusts estates and wills, general business corporate, landlord and tenant matters, bankruptcy, and personal injury..
