Rebel Films Wins Award at Indie Fest

Rebel Films' Avenge wins the Award of Merit from the latest Indie Fest. Rebel Films announces DVD release date for Avenge.

Gregory Christian and Babe Knuuttila, of Rebel Films, have won a prestigious Award of Merit from The Indie Fest. The award was given for Rebel Films' exciting mafia drama, Avenge, which is the first Shakespearean "collage" since Orson Welles' acclaimed Chimes at Midnight (1965). Avenge features Mark Arnold (Teen Wolf) and Anne Lockhart (Battlestar Galactica).

Writer/Director Gregory Christian said, "It is an honor to receive this award from The Indie Fest on behalf of the cast and crew, without whom, none of this would be possible." The story is about a mafia widow who conspires with three gypsies to bring about the downfall of four prominent New York families. Rebel Films will release the DVD on April 29, 2014.
